Dear friends and supporters,
We are delighted to let you know that thanks to your untrammelled generosity, all funds needed to acquire a new tractor for Tisarana have been successfully collected.
Our local farm equipment dealer, who has had an excellent relationship with us for over the past twelve years or so, gave us a very fair trade-in value for the old tractor and also arranged a charity discount from the manufacturer.
All these generous and kindhearted gestures have made it possible for the monastery to get the tractor delivered before Kathina.
Kathina this year has been planned for Sunday, November 8th, 2026. Please keep an eye out on the website for a detailed announcement, soon to follow with more details regarding the event.
Luang Por Viradhammo, the Sangha, residents and the wider Tisarana community look forward to seeing you at the Kathina celebrations, and appreciate your ongoing support, continued friendship and openhearted generosity.
