27th, October 2024 marked the first official event to inaugurate Tisarana’s new Dhamma Hall and to celebrate Kathina. This was Tisarana’s first Royal Kathina and LP Viradhammo was the recipient of this year’s Kathina Robe which was offered by His Majesty Phra Chow Yu Hua Vajiralongkorn, Rama X, King of Thailand.
The Royal Kathina Robe was presented by His Excellency Kallayana Vipattipumiprates, Ambassador of the Kingdom of Thailand to Canada. LP Sucitto offered the reflections on the 10 Royal duties (Dasavidha Rajadhamma) of a monarch, preached by the Buddha.
Medallions specially produced by the Royal Thai Mint in Bangkok were distributed to everyone present. We hope that the new Dhamma Hall will be refuged, helping people to cultivate silence, stillness, and unfettered deliverance of the heart.
